Welcome to Throckley Bowling Club website.
We are a very friendly, welcoming club, open to all ages, regardless of ability.
We have forged links with the local primary school who have a lunchtime bowls club for thier children. A local youth club, aged from 11 to 18 also come along and play during the season.
We play in 4 local leagues. Tuesday evening Nines league, Wednesday evening Clegg league, Thursday afternoon Parliamentary League and Thursday evening Public Utilities league.
Come and join us for a game of bowls. We have a selection of bowls (woods) that you can borrow, so come along and have a go.
We only ask that you wear flat soled shoes to go onto the playing area (green).
